1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Indy 500 Pace Car

This is a beautiful 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Indianapolis 500 Pace Car. We were privileged with the opportunity to do some minor finishing touches on this car.

The 1964 1/2 Mustang has several differences from the 1965 Mustang. One of the unique things about this one is the knob on the ash tray. In all the years that we have been doing Mustang (over 20 years) this is one of the few that we have seen with this option. We installed a new steering wheel and horn assemble. These differ from the 1965 because this is a generator car not an alternator car. This causes many differences within the electric systems.
